Our go-to layering piece for transitional weather, the Capri collar overshirt is cut roomy to sit over casual underlayers such as Bretons, tee shirts, sport shirts and the like. With a slightly cropped body length that plays beautifully with our high-rise pleated trousers worn untucked, the length has been intentionally left long enough that it can still be tucked in for a polished appearance.

The shirts feature our Capri collar that is constructed as one piece (without a discrete collar band) to open with a voluptuous roll above the chest and is finished with box pleats, gauntlet buttons and single button conical barrel cuffs that taper toward the hand. Two large rounded chest pockets adorn the front and reinforce this garment’s casual undertone.

Like all of our shirts, this is intricately crafted with single-needle French seams, pattern matching across the placket, over the shoulders and gauntlets, thick shell buttons, and the best German interlinings cut along the bias for a beautiful three dimensional poise that is hard to come by.
